Gardening: The species and varieties mentioned above are adapted to wide range of growing conditions but prefer warm, moist and good light but not direct sun, particularly in hot months and when grown in pots. Excess watering is the main reason for failure and it is suggested to allow the root system to dry out a little between waterings. Planting And Care
Cold drafts from windows or doors will harm them, so make sure to place them somewhere where drafts will not be an issue. Losing its leaves is the most common problems with Ficus plants. If your Ficus is losing its leaves, go through the checklist of proper Ficus tree care and correct anything that you find wrong.

- Keep the plant in natural indirect bright Light.
- Poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture.
- Water when top soil (1-2inches) feels dry to touch.
- Do not re-pot for min. 2 weeks after receiving it.
