Caladium

For the expression of spectacular colour of the leaves, the plant should be given as much light as possible, though not direct and scorching sunlight. The plant requires plenty of water in its early stage of growth, watering should be stopped with the senescence of leaves and the tubers kept dry and warm during dormancy. The tubers should be removed from the pot in February – March; cleaning of roots and replanting in fresh compost done simultaneously.
